Spectators: 193 (Terracing: 146, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Servet Turabi made the kick off which started today's match. Servet Turabi took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Colin Booth. Colin Booth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Pelle Hvidegaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Servet Turabi put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Colin Booth. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Max Gilespie took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Donato Bordon to make any attempt to save it. Colin Booth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Servet Turabi in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gavião Kyikatejê's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ib Dalsted was slow to take the kick. During this time Esbjerg fB's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pelle Hvidegaard in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Colin Booth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Servet Turabi in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Colin Booth saved Gavião Kyikatejê from getting behind. 24 minutes into the game, Servet Turabi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Colin Booth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute Servet Turabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colin Booth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Servet Turabi took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Colin Booth. Colin Booth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 31st minute of the match Richard McNeish sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donato Bordon skillfully saved the ball. Colin Booth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pelle Hvidegaard's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 33 minutes in the game, Pelle Hvidegaard dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Colin Booth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Servet Turabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Pelle Hvidegaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Colin Booth. Gavião Kyikatejê's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pelle Hvidegaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Colin Booth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Servet Turabi in the 42nd minute of the match. The Esbjerg fB fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Esbjerg fB's Servet Turabi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregor Nelson made a kick off. Gavião Kyikatejê's Colin Booth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 于震树 in the 52nd minute of play. When the match had been going on for 57 minutes, Esbjerg fB's 于震树 got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Colin Booth. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Servet Turabi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esbjerg fB's supporters rose to their feet, but Servet Turabi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Colin Booth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Servet Turabis short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Colin Booth to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Colin Booth was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pelle Hvidegaard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-8 in the 61 minute of play. After some careless play in the Gavião Kyikatejê defense, Servet Turabi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Colin Booth. The Gavião Kyikatejê fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Colin Booth should have stopped the shot. Servet Turabi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-10 in the 67th playminute. 71 minutes into the game, Esbjerg fB's Servet Turabi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Colin Booth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-11. Servet Turabis short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Colin Booth to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gavião Kyikatejê's Colin Booth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Gavião Kyikatejê from getting a goal against them. After 79 played minutes Gavião Kyikatejê got a freekick which was hit by Jordan Robison. After 80 played minutes, Esbjerg fB's Ib Dalsted shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Colin Booth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Esbjerg fB reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Hvidegaard in the 84th minute of play forced Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Colin Booth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Pelle Hvidegaard took a quick shot and it went in 1-12 without a chance for Colin Booth to make any attempt to save it. In the 89th match minute, Esbjerg fB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 于震树 to maneuver through the defense. Servet Turabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colin Booth having to interfere. Colin Booth was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pelle Hvidegaard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-13 in the 94 minute of play. Robin Laidlaw charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robin Laidlaw the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gavião Kyikatejê's Robin Laidlaw got a free kick in the 97th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Colin Booth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Servet Turabi. When the match was over Esbjerg fB could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gavião Kyikatejê throughout the match.
