Spectators: 194 (Terracing: 146, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Don Malbec started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Black Knights FC got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Dudău. After 6 played minutes Black Knights FC got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Carvalho. 8 minutes in the game Francesco Keller did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Braulio Hitz. In the 12th minute, Francesco Keller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Black Knights FC's Stacy Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Malbec in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Black Knights FC's Horaţiu Dudău got a free kick in the 17th minute. Don Malbec might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stacy Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Don Malbec ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, Arturo Di Rado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bryant Miles, 1-0. Horaţiu Dudău got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tyrone Wolff. 36 minutes into the match, Charlotte FC's goalkeeper Bryant Miles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elliot Mercado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Malbec in the 39th minute of play forced Black Knights FC's goalkeeper Stacy Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Elliot Mercado took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bryant Miles. Bryant Miles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 56thth minute of the game Arturo Di Rado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Charlotte FC's Bryant Miles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Horaţiu Dudău hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Black Knights FC's Stacy Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Malbec in the 66th minute of play. Black Knights FC's Tim Crain was substituted for Kirby Metzger. Bryant Miles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Di Rado in the 72nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Black Knights FC's zone, Don Malbec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stacy Daniel came out of the goal and Don Malbec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charlotte FC's Wander Suzanne was substituted for Braulio Hitz. Charlotte FC's Vicente Rafferty was substituted for Don Malbec. After some careless play in the Black Knights FC defense, Vicente Rafferty kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stacy Daniel. The Black Knights FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stacy Daniel should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Vicente Rafferty dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stacy Daniel, 2-2. The supporters of Charlotte FC booed when Black Knights FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horaţiu Dudău didn't get a good kick on the ball.
