Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Don Malbec got the match started through his kick off. Carl Devine came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bryant Miles could save by the left post. Crawford Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Malbec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Don Malbec put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Crawford Lucas. Duncan Gummow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Bryant Miles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crawford Lucas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Hitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Don Malbec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Crawford Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bill Mcneven in the 20th minute of play forced Charlotte FC's goalkeeper Bryant Miles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sexolution FC's Crawford Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Malbec in the 22nd minute of play. Crawford Lucas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Malbec, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Duncan Gummow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Charlotte FC booed when Sexolution FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Devine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Don Malbec scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Crawford Lucas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Crawford Lucas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Don Malbec's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The audience was convinced that Bill Mcneven's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bryant Miles was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After the first half Charlotte FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bill Mcneven was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Don Malbec made a precise shot to the right of Crawford Lucas. Sexolution FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Sexolution FC's Crawford Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Malbec in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sexolution FC's zone, Kaja Jamak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Crawford Lucas came out of the goal and Kaja Jamak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Don Malbec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Crawford Lucas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After 66 minutes Sexolution FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kaja Jamak who took care of the corner kick. In the 69th minute, Don Malbec reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Crawford Lucas. The goal made the score 0-4. Don Malbec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Charlotte FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kaja Jamak in the 75th minute. When Don Malbec came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Charlotte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Don Malbec couldn't finish the play. Charlotte FC made a substitution. Vicente Rafferty replaced Don Malbec. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sexolution FC's goalkeeper Crawford Lucas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vicente Rafferty might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Crawford Lucas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Rafferty ran back to his position shaking his head. Sexolution FC's Crawford Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Rafferty in the 89th minute of play. Crawford Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Rafferty in the 91st minute of the match. When the match was over Charlotte FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sexolution FC throughout the match.
