Ali Erdem Tekinsoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carman Tinsley having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Florencio Harri made a precise shot to the right of Carman Tinsley. Darwin Saville FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Farid Ayham made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Göran Jonasson sent off a good shot on target. Carman Tinsley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Olbrechts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20thth minute of the game Göran Jonasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Beirut's Farid Ayham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute Atletico Beirut were awarded a corner. Florencio Harri went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, Atletico Beirut's Farid Ayham got control of the ball when Göran Jonasson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute Abo Bakr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Ayham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darwin Saville FC's Carman Tinsley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamil Gulson in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Darwin Saville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Harri came free, but Carman Tinsley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute of the match Atletico Beirut got a corner. Darwin Saville FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florencio Harri ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Atletico Beirut's Kamil Gulson to fire away a dangerous shot which Carman Tinsley despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Göran Jonasson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Farid Ayham having to make a save. Carman Tinsley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Erdem Tekinsoy in the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florencio Harri to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Abo Bakr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Darwin Saville FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abo Bakr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Farid Ayham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kamil Gulson got free with Carman Tinsley in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florencio Harris short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Carman Tinsley to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Farid Ayham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Kinell in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Olbrechts in the 82nd minute of play forced Darwin Saville FC's goalkeeper Carman Tinsley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Abo Bakr fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Darwin Saville FC's protests and gave Abo Bakr a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Darwin Saville FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Abo Bakr hit a great ball. Mostafa Jabal kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Carman Tinsley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Erdem Tekinsoy in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Arif Egemen Karaca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florencio Harri in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carman Tinsley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Atletico Beirut had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
