A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Tony Pacheco hit a great ball. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hu Jie Rong in the 4th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Silva in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrianus Tambunan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hu Jie Rong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Putra Rewulu's Adrianus Tambunan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Silva in the 12th minute of play. Adrianus Tambunan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tio Lio in the 13th minute of the match. Adrianus Tambunan came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Tio Lio. But to his dismay, Tio Lio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Efraim Morais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jeremy Nicholas made a huge save. In the 19thth minute of the game Edgardo Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Putra Rewulu's Adrianus Tambunan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hu Jie Rong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jeremy Nicholas made a huge save. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Tony Pacheco got a free kick in the 24th minute. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaya Assegaf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrianus Tambunan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Silva in the 28th minute of the match. Putra Rewulu's Adrianus Tambunan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Pacheco in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Silva in the 31st minute of play forced Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper Adrianus Tambunan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of New England Minas booed when Putra Rewulu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hu Jie Rong didn't get a good kick on the ball. The New England Minas fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when New England Minas's Edgardo Silva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hu Jie Rong in the 41st minute of play. Adrianus Tambunan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tio Lio in the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Efraim Morais made a kick off. Adrianus Tambunan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Silva in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in New England Minas's zone, Efraim Morais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremy Nicholas came out of the goal and Efraim Morais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Glen Conklin. Adrianus Tambunan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tio Lio in the 60th minute. Efraim Morais hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th match minute, Putra Rewulu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efraim Morais to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Putra Rewulu's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Silva came free, but Adrianus Tambunan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes Putra Rewulu got a freekick which was hit by Tytus Pracki. The supporters of New England Minas booed when Putra Rewulu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tytus Pracki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Adjat Inzaghi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes Putra Rewulu got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Zambujal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tio Lio got free with Adrianus Tambunan in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adrianus Tambunan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Sito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Pacheco kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Tio Lio hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Hu Jie Rong scored 1-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremy Nicholas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. New England Minas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
