After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Wilber Leon got a free kick in the 36th minute. PHOENIX SC's Phoenix Kante couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Qikiqtarjuaq FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lilcho Ilchov in the 42nd minute of play forced Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Abel Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lilcho Ilchov in the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frederico Hendrickx in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, PHOENIX SC's Ray Clemence got control of the ball when Joshua Keys tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abel Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lilcho Ilchov, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joshua Keys was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Qikiqtarjuaq FC booed when PHOENIX SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Abaurre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Joshua Keys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Clemence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno got control of the ball when Lilcho Ilchov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Ilgaz Şirvan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ray Clemence took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Keys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Joshua Keys sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ray Clemence narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded PHOENIX SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Qikiqtarjuaq FC.
