In the 9th minute Ilgaz Şirvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Zarricueta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Joshua Keys's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horacio Zarricueta was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute of the game Sebastian Milla made a throw-in which Ruslan Gak played forward. After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Paul Some got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Ilgaz Şirvan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horacio Zarricueta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 26 played minutes Qikiqtarjuaq FC got a freekick which was hit by Quinton Marcheterre. Abel Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Johnsson took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Bueno. Abel Bueno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Shymkent Camels's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Slaughter came free, but Horacio Zarricueta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Jiang Cheng Peng kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abel Bueno. That made the score 2-1 in the 36 minute of play. Horacio Zarricueta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilgaz Şirvan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Christer Johnsson made the kick off in the second half. Sandu Donecea made in the 51st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zézinho Falcão. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Johnsson in the 52nd minute of play. In the 68th minute Christer Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Joshua Keys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Qikiqtarjuaq FC made a substitution. Daron Keen replaced Gary Thomason. In the 73rd match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonzo Davidson to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the game, Alfonzo Davidson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shymkent Camels the free kick. Zézinho Falcão missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 75 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Abel Bueno right hand side. Horacio Zarricueta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joshua Keys's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Eustaquio Patrick was substituted for Ilgaz Şirvan. In the 89th minute, Ayrton Schumacher left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shymkent Camels fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
