Horacio Zarricueta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Holin Probohudono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Hendrickx in the 32nd minute of play forced Shymkent Camels's goalkeeper Horacio Zarricueta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jiang Cheng Peng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ray Clemence tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Shymkent Camels had won after a very even match.
