Edvaldo Gaspar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bennett Rishton. Frenchville Sports Club's Edvaldo Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael van der Vaart in the 8th minute of play. György Németh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Edvaldo Gaspar made a huge save. Rafael van der Vaarts short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Edvaldo Gaspar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Starri Ööpik in the 19th minute of play forced Glasston's goalkeeper Carlton Convine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eddy Watts struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Edvaldo Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glasston. Bennett Rishton hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. If Rafael van der Vaart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glasston's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tom Rheistein in the 61st minute. A very nice done corner allowed Billy de Jager to score against Edvaldo Gaspar in Frenchville Sports Club's goal. 1-0 after 62 minutes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael van der Vaart in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvaldo Gaspar saved Frenchville Sports Club from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Starri Ööpik got free with Carlton Convine in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Glasston's Rafael van der Vaart in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Edvaldo Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael van der Vaart in the 94th minute of the match. Rafael van der Vaart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvaldo Gaspar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Glasston were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Frenchville Sports Club for a fine match.
