The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jerry Soon hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gasca Nebuna's Olgierd Falkowski got a free kick in the 4th minute. Muhammad Singh, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 8th match minute, Gasca Nebuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis Butts to maneuver through the defense. Oakham's Jerry Soon managed to work through Gasca Nebuna's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jerry Soon dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Erenay Acarsoy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Bryan Hui made a huge save. Bryan Hui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 温超适 in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Khai Amin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Béla Simon. Gasca Nebuna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Khai Amin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 19 played minutes Oakham got a freekick which was hit by Bineesh Soon. Bryan Hui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erenay Acarsoy in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wong Butcher in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Béla Simon saved Gasca Nebuna from getting behind. In the 32nd match minute, Oakham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Chong to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Kenton Mercure from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Bryan Hui's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Bryan Hui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tales Arruda in the 33rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Oakham's Bryan Hui got control of the ball when Olgierd Falkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Béla Simon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wong Butcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 许源斌 hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Mark Koh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Béla Simon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Koh in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wong Butcher made a kick off. Mark Koh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Koh got free with Béla Simon in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rd minute, Mark Koh reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Béla Simon. The goal made the score 0-3. The supporters of Oakham booed when Gasca Nebuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeff Beck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Béla Simon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 温超适 in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bryan Hui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd match minute, Gasca Nebuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olgierd Falkowski to maneuver through the defense. Oakham made a substitution. Gara Hock replaced Mark Koh. A collision led to Gasca Nebuna getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Olgierd Falkowski hit a great ball. Khai Amin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Béla Simon came out and tried to block the shot, but Khai Amin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Arruda in the 69th minute of play forced Oakham's goalkeeper Bryan Hui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Béla Simon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gasca Nebuna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Muhammad Singh was slow to take the kick. During this time Oakham's players had a chance to rest. Oakham's Muhammad Singh was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Béla Simon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Khai Amin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Béla Simon firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Oakham getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Victor Chong hit a great ball. Bryan Hui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bryan Hui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Arruda in the 90th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Wong Butcher put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Béla Simon. 95 minutes into the match, Gasca Nebuna's goalkeeper Béla Simon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gara Hock. After 95th play minutes Wong Butcher shot 1-8, a short shot which went by Béla Simon and just under the crossbar into goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Oakham walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
