The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Whitney Godfrey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afiz Teo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Redbourn AFC were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Creekers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Danial Koh took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Ronn Yi-Sheng got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-0. 7 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Redbourn AFC defense, Ladislao Gines kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afiz Teo. The Redbourn AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afiz Teo should have stopped the shot. Creekers's Jude Crocker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Creekers from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Redbourn AFC defense, Ladislao Gines kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afiz Teo. The Redbourn AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afiz Teo should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Redbourn AFC's zone, Ladislao Gines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afiz Teo came out of the goal and Ladislao Gines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Afiz Teo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Gines, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Ladislao Gines sped through Redbourn AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Afiz Teo. In the 40th match minute, Redbourn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afiz Seng to maneuver through the defense. Ladislao Gines recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Ladislao Gines took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Afiz Teo to make any attempt to save it. 57 minutes into the match, Riley Trotter dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Afiz Teo, 1-5. Ladislao Gines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afiz Teo having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Ladislao Gines cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Afiz Teo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th minute, Riley Trotter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ladislao Gines struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Afiz Teo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Creekers. Creekers's Reynaldo Driscoll was substituted for Ladislao Gines. Jude Crocker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Chan in the 73rd minute of the match. Reynaldo Driscoll succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-7 in the 74th playminute. Creekers made a substitution. Dalton Flaherty replaced William Kerns. Shafiq Chien-Kwan kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goalkeeper Afiz Teo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynaldo Driscoll. After 81 minutes of play, Redbourn AFC's Victor Chan made it 2-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jude Crocker was left in no man's land by his defense there! Creekers's Jude Crocker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Chan in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Driscoll dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Afiz Teo, 2-8. With a little luck, Redbourn AFC's Afiz Teo got control of the ball when Reynaldo Driscoll tried to sneak it across the goal line. Redbourn AFC's Afiz Teo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Redbourn AFC from getting a goal against them. The Redbourn AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Creekers's performance. The match ended with a win for Creekers.
