The supporters of Set Fire booed when LiverBird Flyers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Ning didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Asiz Leng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alam Wah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Scirea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Asiz Leng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Rosalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fedele Scirea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Set Fire's Fedele Scirea in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 32nd minute, Fedele Scirea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delmiro Rosalio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Grimes in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, LiverBird Flyers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Grimes to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fedele Scirea in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alam Wah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Set Fire's Fedele Scirea got a free kick in the 41st minute. Fedele Scirea might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alam Wah. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fedele Scirea ran back to his position shaking his head. Fedele Scirea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Alam Wah made a huge save. Fedele Scirea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alam Wah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fedele Scirea made a kick off. Delmiro Rosalio made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Bruno Pernambucano sent off a good shot on target. Fedele Scirea scored 3-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alam Wah, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Set Fire's Fedele Scirea got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delmiro Rosalio was a little too slow when Shafiq Boon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 3-2. Alam Wah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedele Scirea, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute of the match, Shafiq Boon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Delmiro Rosalio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 86 minutes into the game, Flavio Jaka Jamba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Set Fire's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LiverBird Flyers FC the free kick. Flavio Jaka Jamba hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Shafiq Boon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, LiverBird Flyers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fedele Scirea came free, but Alam Wah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Set Fire were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of LiverBird Flyers FC for a fine match.
