Delmiro Rosalio was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Daniel Afloroaiei capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Set Fire's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Afloroaiei came free, but Delmiro Rosalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Karl-Oskar Lund came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Flying Hellfish fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Oskar Lund couldn't finish the play. Delmiro Rosalio came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Flying Hellfish's Daniel Afloroaiei. But to his dismay, Daniel Afloroaiei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Set Fire's zone, Daniel Afloroaiei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmiro Rosalio came out of the goal and Daniel Afloroaiei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute Daniel Afloroaiei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Rosalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmiro Rosalio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Afloroaiei's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute Magno Jaka Jamba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Wielkopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flying Hellfish's Kazimierz Wielkopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Scirea in the 87th minute of play. Amedeo Carlucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Afloroaiei in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmiro Rosalio saved Set Fire from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Flying Hellfish fans cheered their team off the field, for while Set Fire had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
