Spectators: 194 (Terracing: 146, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) Abbotsford FC's Denny Commons started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yakut Vecihi got free with Eliot Pfingst in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the game, Denny Commons lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Eliot Pfingst. In the 23rd minute, Yakut Vecihi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eliot Pfingst. The goal made the score 3-0. Eliot Pfingst made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Yakut Vecihi sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, Nurkan Salah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Abbotsford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cai Inestrosa came free, but Lei Wei Lin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliot Pfingst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denny Commons, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute Nurkan Salah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lei Wei Lin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lei Wei Lin came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Southern Thrashers's Nurkan Salah. But to his dismay, Nurkan Salah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Cai Inestrosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Southern Thrashers's supporters rose to their feet, but Cai Inestrosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lei Wei Lin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Southern Thrashers's Eliot Pfingst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denny Commons in the 42nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Abbotsford FC's Eliot Pfingst threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Denny Commons, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cai Inestrosa to make the kick off. If Abbas Ağayarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eliot Pfingst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abbas Ağayarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th match minute, Abbotsford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jess Glover to maneuver through the defense. Southern Thrashers's Nurkan Salah shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lei Wei Lin but with some difficulty. Eliot Pfingst stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yakut Vecihi's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 67th minute Denny Commons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliot Pfingst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Sever Corbu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliot Pfingst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Southern Thrashers's Eliot Pfingst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sever Corbu in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Denny Commons made a precise shot to the right of Eliot Pfingst. Southern Thrashers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When Abbotsford FC's Denny Commons in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Southern Thrashers's goalie prevented a goal. In the 79th minute, Cai Inestrosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lei Wei Lin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Inestrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Mieszko Duda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pierre Haeberle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eliot Pfingst. Southern Thrashers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 86th minute, Su Xing Jie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Abbotsford FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
