Hauk Hareide's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justin Abril read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Hernan Luar hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Donzel came free, but Silvestre Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Castel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justin Abril read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Silvestre Peli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Cutberto in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Hauk Hareide ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justin Abril was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fabrício Coloccini made in the 25th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Amador Donzel. Silvestre Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Donzel in the 25th minute of play. Hauk Hareide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Justin Abril tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Cutberto got free with Silvestre Peli in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes in the game, Ubaldo Ospin dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's István Selymes got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Edgar Capixaba hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hauk Hareide stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Cutberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Peli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Cutberto's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Ospin in the 55th minute of play forced La Bichineta's goalkeeper Silvestre Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amador Donzel in the 60th minute. A nice corner shot did that Amador Donzel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Silvestre Peli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hauk Hareide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's Ronaldão Fenomeno was substituted for Ubaldo Ospin. La Bichineta made a substitution. Carolo Abancens replaced Hauk Hareide. Octavio Mogel kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's Victor Cutberto in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Although RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 had been in control for most of the match, La Bichineta still came away with the win.
