Serafin Eate made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jaime Veronica charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Veronica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Club Atletico Chusca's Sad Boy was substituted for Leonardo Gumaro. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Silas de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauro Moreira in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes in the game 贺皓扬 did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lauro Moreira. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Dário Prada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Hornos's supporters rose to their feet, but Dário Prada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafin Eate breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Marcu Şuteu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Hornos made a substitution. Gene Simmons replaced Mustafa Erhard. Los Hornos's attentive Jaime Veronica managed to snatch the ball when Aristides Santo made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. Dário Prada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafin Eate having to make a save. Serafin Eate made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Dário Prada sent off a good shot on target. Serafin Eate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ghitã Butuc in the 74th minute of the match. Richie Craig's late challenge caught a Los Hornos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richie Craig helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Chusca's Richie Craig got a free kick in the 98th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Hornos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
