Unidad de Matanza's Venancio Cristofol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Figueroa in the 6th minute of play. Venancio Cristofol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Figueroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The throw-in from Cleto Firmin in the 10th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Unidad de Matanza's Lenni Skensved. In the 13th minute Teodosio Figueroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Figueroa in the 21st minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Venancio Cristofol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Loco Malo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Filiberto Nisio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Lagrima en Jarrita's Loco Malo got control of the ball when Máximo Kirchner tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Unidad de Matanza's Loco Malo threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Máximo Kirchner, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 69th minute Nestor Bâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco Malo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Nestor Bâru got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Loco Malo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 73 minutes Lagrima en Jarrita's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Waldemar Okopny who took care of the corner kick. Loco Malo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Bâru in the 76th minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loco Malo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Venancio Cristofol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristide Ştefănoiu in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Unidad de Matanza's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filiberto Nisio was slow to take the kick. During this time Lagrima en Jarrita's players had a chance to rest. Filiberto Nisio made a great header on Lagrima en Jarrita's corner, it was just that Unidad de Matanza's Venancio Cristofol managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Unidad de Matanza fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lagrima en Jarrita had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
