Arrecifes's Chiquinho Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Socorro in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Falconara Albanese were awarded a corner. Domingos Sagrario went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 41st minute, Lorenzo Martinez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Marcial Navarro made a precise shot to the right of Osvaldo Vergaray. Falconara Albanese's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Prudencio Quintyn kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Casimiro Txomin made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Falconara Albanese's Domingos Sagrario got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Modesto Socorro got free with Chiquinho Romero in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute, Falconara Albanese's Modesto Socorro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chiquinho Romero. Chiquinho Romero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Falconara Albanese's Cristo Evarado was substituted for Astor Curcio. Arrecifes made a substitution. Gilberto Jakobe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osvaldo Vergaray having to make a save. Chiquinho Romero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dobri Kolyovski went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The Falconara Albanese players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
