In the 12th minute Alfred Pechal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Davison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Davison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Pechal, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Olli Fiedler struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Carlos Claris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Super Penalitop's Mauricio Jaizki got a free kick in the 30th minute. With 33 minutes on the clock, Mauricio Lore commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sportivo Luan Toro! Zlatan Belkå replaced Hernan Cresenciano. Super Penalitop's Facundo Robak was substituted for Mauricio Jaizki. In the 65th minute of the match Sportivo Luan Toro got a corner. Super Penalitop's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sergius Ramus ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andres Drogba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Robert Davison made a huge save. If Justino Roland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the match, Super Penalitop's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Roland came free, but Carlos Claris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Claris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martins Palermo's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Martins Palermo sped through Super Penalitop's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Claris. In the 82nd minute Marcial Iigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Claris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Drogba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robert Davison came out and tried to block the shot, but Andres Drogba slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 83rd minute. In the 90th minute Martins Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Claris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Drogba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robert Davison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The Sportivo Luan Toro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Super Penalitop's performance. The match ended with a win for Super Penalitop.
