Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Rogério Ceni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Belgrano LOS PIRATAS from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Herbert Pracki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lazaros Kabantais was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Carlos Larpe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Guillermo Frank got a free kick in the 46th minute. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Larpe in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cumhur Günay made a kick off. Los Materos FC's Lazaros Kabantais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cumhur Günay in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Haydar Genişyürek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Materos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Haydar Genişyürek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Los Materos FC's Tincho Palermo was substituted for Haydar Genişyürek. Los Materos FC's Elias Furman was substituted for Carlos Larpe. Rogério Ceni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
