Maximiliano Astudillo came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Robert Haegg. But to his dismay, Robert Haegg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Robert Haegg sped through SAN MARTIN F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maximiliano Astudillo. In the 9th minute, Robert Haegg made a precise shot to the right of Maximiliano Astudillo. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When Jairo Ritchie fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAN MARTIN F.C.'s protests and gave Jairo Ritchie a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Jairo Ritchie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Robert Haegg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ARedonditos de Ricota CFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 17 minutes into the game, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Robert Haegg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximiliano Astudillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Alejo Txurio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Haegg in the 29th minute of play forced SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goalkeeper Maximiliano Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Haegg in the 30th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's corner Hugo Chávez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maximiliano Astudillo quite easily take care of the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Robert Haegg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Maximiliano Astudillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Haegg in the 37th minute of play forced SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goalkeeper Maximiliano Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmacio Etxatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Maximiliano Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Robert Haegg came free, but Maximiliano Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Robert Haegg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Astudillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abelardo Roland to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, SAN MARTIN F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Ritchie to maneuver through the defense. Guaberto Matro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximiliano Astudillo came out and tried to block the shot, but Guaberto Matro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in SAN MARTIN F.C.'s zone, Robert Haegg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Astudillo came out of the goal and Robert Haegg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Emilio Polo was substituted for Guaberto Matro. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Emilio Gonzales was substituted for Jonas Paz. The crowd rose to their feet as ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Toto Monti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maximiliano Astudillo. That made the score 0-10 after 63 minutes of play. 67 minutes into the game, Florentino Berasko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maximiliano Astudillo. Florentino Berasko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. In the 69th minute, Emilio Gonzales ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Astudillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. Maximiliano Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Polo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 81 minutes into the match, Emilio Gonzales notched a goal, 0-15, to the right of SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Maximiliano Astudillo. Maximiliano Astudillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emilio Gonzales scored 0-16 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximiliano Astudillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maximiliano Astudillo was a little too slow when Emilio Gonzales got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-17. In the 92nd minute, Emilio Gonzales ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Astudillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-18. The SAN MARTIN F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
