Santiago Abreu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nacho Gonzalez came out and tried to block the shot, but Santiago Abreu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Nacho Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Brion in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes in the game Vasile Neicu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sebastian Quin. 14 minutes into the match, Luisinho Laguna notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Celestiales's Bennvar Noobel. Bennvar Noobel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Celestiales's goalkeeper Bennvar Noobel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led El Gallo de Moron's Gilberto Ihazintu to fire away a dangerous shot which Bennvar Noobel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bennvar Noobel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisinho Laguna's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. El Gallo de Moron's Nacho Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Abreu in the 26th minute of play. After 27 minutes El Gallo de Moron's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Albano Millan who took care of the corner kick. El Gallo de Moron's Franco Ternero quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mateo Gabino, made in the 34th minute of the game. Manolo Sanchís hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. El Gallo de Moron's Gilberto Ihazintu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Celestiales.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisinho Laguna to make the kick off. Luisinho Laguna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bennvar Noobel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Vasile Neicu hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Celestiales made a substitution. Eustaquio Eudoxio replaced Santiago Abreu. The supporters of Celestiales booed when El Gallo de Moron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasile Neicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute Isaias Laurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Laurin in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nacho Gonzalez saved El Gallo de Moron from getting behind. Declan Rice kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Teofilo Garrote sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Eudoxio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nacho Gonzalez was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Eustaquio Eudoxio struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Nacho Gonzalez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celestiales. The Celestiales supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching El Gallo de Moron's performance. The match ended with a win for El Gallo de Moron.
