Cornelio Cordearo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Elias Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Opilano, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Ramiro Lano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Deportivo Tachito's goalkeeper Elias Selatse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Lano. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, Belmiro Arruda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Cordearo came out of the goal and Belmiro Arruda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elias Selatse made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Ramiro Lano sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Deportivo Tachito walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
