Erasmo Diegotxe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie got control of the ball when Jesús Martín tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gu Chang Peng in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Diegotxe saved Defensores del Tiki Tiki from getting behind. Erasmo Diegotxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gu Chang Peng in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesús Martín in the 46th minute of play forced Ripa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ripa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Smith Wigglesworth in the 49th minute. The corner led Ripa FC's Smith Wigglesworth to fire away a dangerous shot which Erasmo Diegotxe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Erasmo Diegotxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gu Chang Peng in the 53rd minute of play. Aldo Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergey Nikiforenko in the 65th minute of the match. Defensores del Tiki Tiki were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Ripa FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jesús Martín took the corner. Ripa FC's Alejandro Frederico was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Erasmo Diegotxe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hampus Nordström in the 92nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Bochini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Diegotxe was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The Defensores del Tiki Tiki supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ripa FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ripa FC.
