Maurício Bomba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Bamford in the 13th minute of the match. If Edgard Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Errando in the 18th minute of play forced Moscovi Ψ's goalkeeper Kiliz Mauleon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match AC LeX Luthor got a corner. Moscovi Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Errando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Moscovi Ψ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pancho Branca was slow to take the kick. During this time AC LeX Luthor's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Moscovi Ψ's goalie and right to Blade Runnel. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Moscovi Ψ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 66 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Eudoxio came free, but Maurício Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurício Bomba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Eudoxio, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute.
