Renan Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Bitxintxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimmy Örtendal might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremias Ribeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimmy Örtendal ran back to his position shaking his head. Burukster's Jeremias Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulrico Herzog in the 30th minute of play. Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Bitxintxo in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match Burukster got a corner. Matanza and Steelers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Fábio Araújo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Burukster's Luís Fábio Araújo to fire away a dangerous shot which Renan Mendes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jeremias Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leysus Oktavianus, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of Burukster booed when Matanza and Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clóvis Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Luís Fábio Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burukster's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Fábio Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renan Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlindo Aguiar in the 75th minute of play. Luís Fábio Araújo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Matanza and Steelers's Wiliam Peixoto was substituted for Gervaso Abenda. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Jeremias Ribeiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Matanza and Steelers booed when Burukster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Burukster getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ramón Wanchope hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Matanza and Steelers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Burukster.
