In the 17th minute, Grêmio Papão de WC's Gedeon Káposztás ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Murilo Ferreira. If Gedeon Káposztás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's Gedeon Káposztás sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Murilo Ferreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Gedeon Káposztás managed to get in a good position for a shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gedeon Káposztás made a kick off.
