Wolves FC - DMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abram Cadabra in the 14th minute. Marco Löhr took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Murilo Ferreira. Murilo Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo da Fonseca in the 20th minute of play forced Wolves FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Guillen Aguillar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardinho Nascimento during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Buritama Sports defense, Ronaldo Joinvilense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Murilo Ferreira. The Buritama Sports fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murilo Ferreira should have stopped the shot. The Wolves FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. A collision led to Buritama Sports getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ricardo Dias hit a great ball. Murilo Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 40th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In a very dangerous position, a player in Wolves FC - DMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! The supporters of Buritama Sports booed when Wolves FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neto Queraria didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ricardinho Nascimento was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Buritama Sports's Ricardinho Nascimento got a free kick in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Joinvilense dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Murilo Ferreira, 0-8. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wolves FC - DMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
