After 7 minutes Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Murillo Galvão who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to FC La Masia's Antônio Simão getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Pedro Augusto Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Xavier in the 10th minute of play. Cesinha do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Raymundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The supporters of FC La Masia booed when Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Øyvind Gilje didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Pedro Augusto Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Trevisan in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match FC La Masia got a corner. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Murillo Galvão ran over to the corner to take the kick. Øyvind Gilje scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cesinha do Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cesinha do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, FC La Masia's Cesinha do Vale got control of the ball when Rafinha Massa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Xavier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Augusto Neto was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, FC La Masia's goal looked a bit too open when Øyvind Gilje came free, but Cesinha do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristiano Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cesinha do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Øyvind Gilje in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Cristiano Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Xavier took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Augusto Neto. Pedro Augusto Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Carlos Toscano during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Zé Carlos Toscano hit a great ball. In the 46th minute of the match Murillo Galvão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Augusto Neto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 46th minute, Fernando Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Øyvind Gilje sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, FC La Masia's goal looked a bit too open when Rafinha Massa came free, but Cesinha do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Augusto Neto having to interfere. Pedro Augusto Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC La Masia defense, Øyvind Gilje kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesinha do Vale. The FC La Masia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesinha do Vale should have stopped the shot. Pedro Augusto Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Xavier in the 78th minute of the match. FC La Masia's Cesinha do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Øyvind Gilje in the 79th minute of play. Pedro Augusto Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Duarte Nogueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesinha do Vale. FC La Masia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duarte Nogueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Diogo Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC La Masia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
