Alexsandro Linares hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Brazil Academy's Afonso Vargas got control of the ball when Cauã Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauã Ramos in the 12th minute of play forced Brazil Academy's goalkeeper Afonso Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cauã Ramos in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Vargas saved Brazil Academy from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Maximiliano Omar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Brazil Academy's Afonso Vargas got control of the ball when Hortêncio Vander tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Vander in the 26th minute of play forced Brazil Academy's goalkeeper Afonso Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Brazil Academy's goalkeeper Afonso Vargas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Hortêncio Vander notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Brazil Academy's Afonso Vargas. Afonso Vargas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Afonso Vargas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hortêncio Vander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 35 minute of play. In the 37th minute Daniel Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Marcos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sam Marcos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Mangueira in the 38th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Joélson Barbosa put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Brazil Academy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! 3-1 came in the 43rd minute when Hortêncio Vander all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Afonso Vargas. The supporters of Nada Pontual F.C booed when Brazil Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hortêncio Vander to make the kick off. Sam Marcos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Nunes in the 53rd minute of play. Afonso Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Ramos in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match Edgar Trigo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Afonso Vargas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Nada Pontual F.C's goalkeeper Sam Marcos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Durval Nunes. After 59 minutes Nada Pontual F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gildo Braga who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Gildo Braga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sam Marcos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nada Pontual F.C made a substitution. Zé Carlos Neves replaced Alexsandro Linares. Cauã Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Afonso Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Nada Pontual F.C's Cauã Ramos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afonso Vargas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 73 minutes into the match, Nada Pontual F.C's Hortêncio Vander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afonso Vargas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emilio Casomiro kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Sam Marcos made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Maximiliano Omar sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauã Ramos in the 79th minute of play forced Brazil Academy's goalkeeper Afonso Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Brazil Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gildo Braga to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Richard Schmidt made a precise shot to the right of Afonso Vargas. Brazil Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Nada Pontual F.C's Richard Schmidt got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sam Marcos made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Maximiliano Omar sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Nada Pontual F.C getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Joãozinho Dez hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Nada Pontual F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
