Brazil Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Parelheiros FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Brazil Academy's Gildo Braga got a free kick in the 5th minute. The supporters of Brazil Academy booed when Parelheiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Gorka didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had been going on for 8 minutes Gildo Braga shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Nuno Antunes when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Nuno Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso Vargas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leszek Jeziorkowski's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Parelheiros FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ismael Gorka in the 14th minute. After taking down the ball on Parelheiros FC's corner Waldir Romero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Afonso Vargas quite easily take care of the ball. Nuno Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Mangueira in the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Parelheiros FC's Ismael Gorka got a free kick in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leszek Jeziorkowski in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Vargas saved Brazil Academy from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, Leszek Jeziorkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Parelheiros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some careless play in the Brazil Academy defense, Leszek Jeziorkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonso Vargas. The Brazil Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonso Vargas should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval Nunes in the 42nd minute of play forced Parelheiros FC's goalkeeper Nuno Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Antunes made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Maximiliano Omar sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Omar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Nuno Antunes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

In the 57thth minute of the game Leszek Jeziorkowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brazil Academy's Afonso Vargas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 58 minutes Brazil Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ismael Gorka who took care of the corner kick. Parelheiros FC's César Goiano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Afonso Vargas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nuno Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso Vargas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leszek Jeziorkowski in the 65th minute. Parelheiros FC's Nuno Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Amaral in the 66th minute of play. After 74 minutes Brazil Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ismael Gorka who took care of the corner kick. Joélson Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Brazil Academy's Afonso Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Gorka in the 78th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Brazil Academy got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Braga. Célio Dante got a throw-in 83 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Marcelo Mangueira. Osvaldinho Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Célio Dante made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Marcelo Mangueira. Leszek Jeziorkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Afonso Vargas made a huge save. Leszek Jeziorkowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonso Vargas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leszek Jeziorkowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Brazil Academy's Afonso Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leszek Jeziorkowski in the 92nd minute of play. The Parelheiros FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Parelheiros FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
