Nada Pontual F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernabe Gomez in the 11th minute. Edgar Trigo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 13th minute, Helge Almkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmeiras de Plantão fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Nada Pontual F.C's Sam Marcos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Almkvist in the 16th minute of play. Cido Meireles came out of the goal and Hortêncio Vander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cido Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Cido Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Nada Pontual F.C getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Alexsandro Linares hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Nada Pontual F.C's goalkeeper Sam Marcos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernandinho de Moraes. When Hortêncio Vander came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Nada Pontual F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hortêncio Vander couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Nada Pontual F.C's Alexsandro Linares got a free kick in the 40th minute. Palmeiras de Plantão's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 42nd minute of the game, when Haroldo Fonseca after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Nada Pontual F.C's goal. Haroldo Fonseca was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Sam Marcos made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Helge Almkvist sent off a good shot on target. The wind increased when Hortêncio Vander made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Nada Pontual F.C booed when Palmeiras de Plantão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Cido Meireles managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Nada Pontual F.C's Hortêncio Vander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Nada Pontual F.C booed when Palmeiras de Plantão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball.
