Seb Hedges's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomé Montenegro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Tomé Montenegro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Ferreira Lopes MZC from getting a goal against them. Tomé Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seb Hedges, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the last second Tomé Montenegro throw himself and got hold of the ball when Seb Hedges in the 20thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 26 minutes into the match, Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalkeeper Tomé Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Seb Hedges. Ferreira Lopes MZC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dedé Paiva in the 32nd minute. The corner led to Ferreira Lopes MZC's Ronaldo Alcântara getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Luka Beaugendre managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mugur Nițisor in the 37 minute of the game. After 38 played minutes Ferreira Lopes MZC got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Alcântara. Seb Hedges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Tomé Montenegro made a huge save. With a little luck, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Tomé Montenegro got control of the ball when Seb Hedges tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Alcântara came free, but Mustafa Cumhur Gök reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Herald Depauw was substituted for Luka Beaugendre. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dário Martins made a kick off. Basílio Eger hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Tomé Montenegro came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by DENVER™'s Mugur Nițisor. But to his dismay, Mugur Nițisor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 61st play minutes Seb Hedges shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Tomé Montenegro and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 65th minute, Seb Hedges made a precise shot to the right of Tomé Montenegro. Ferreira Lopes MZC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. DENVER™ made a substitution. Dráusio Garcia replaced Cosme Zaccardi. DENVER™'s Antonio Cugini was substituted for Diego Armando Messi. Ferreira Lopes MZC's attentive Basílio Eger managed to snatch the ball when Mugur Nițisor made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. Tomé Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomé Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seb Hedges in the 75th minute of play. In the 80th minute Seb Hedges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 played minutes Ferreira Lopes MZC got a freekick which was hit by Dedé Paiva. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seb Hedges in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomé Montenegro saved Ferreira Lopes MZC from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Seb Hedges notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Ferreira Lopes MZC's Tomé Montenegro. Tomé Montenegro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomé Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seb Hedges in the 95th minute of play.
