After 2 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Lara. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olivier Gilg in the 7th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Arlindo Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chico Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Paulista in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Murilo Lucas got a free kick in the 12th minute. Arlindo Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olivier Gilg in the 15th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Murilo Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arlindo Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Lopes in the 23rd minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Bueno came free, but Chico Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato got control of the ball when Murilo Lucas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute Roberto Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arlindo Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Augusto Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Arlindo Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Augusto Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Olivier Gilg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antônio Carlos Bueno to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Niculae Martinescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arlindo Guedes. That made the score 2-2 in the 51 minute of play. When Pars Yorgun fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DIPLOMATA FC PAB's protests and gave Pars Yorgun a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of DIPLOMATA FC PAB:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AF CERRADO:s goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chico Donato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Lopes in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Pedro Lopez got a free kick in the 70th minute. AF CERRADO's Felix Smits was substituted for Carlos Alberto Jacinto. In the 71st minute, Pedro Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Lopes came free, but Arlindo Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chico Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Damião in the 76th minute of the match. Murilo Lucas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chico Donato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DIPLOMATA FC PAB made a substitution. Délio Furtado replaced Olivier Gilg. In the 91st match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Lopez to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Roberto Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chico Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Damião came free, but Chico Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AF CERRADO's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
