Honorato Marz made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Fausto Di Blasio sent off a good shot on target. Alessandro do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Honorato Marz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MarquinhosEC's Matei Răducu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamal Roye in the 12th minute of play. Matei Răducu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamal Roye in the 13th minute of play. Honorato Marz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harm de Freitas in the 17th minute of play. Matei Răducu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khairil Lum, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harm de Freitas in the 24th minute of play forced São Miguel do Oeste.SC's goalkeeper Honorato Marz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Harm de Freitas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamal Roye in the 31st minute of play forced MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Matei Răducu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jamal Roye took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matei Răducu. Matei Răducu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Matei Răducu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamal Roye in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th minute Jamal Roye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Răducu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MarquinhosEC's Matei Răducu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Scarpa in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, São Miguel do Oeste.SC's Honorato Marz got control of the ball when Fausto Di Blasio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harm de Freitas to make the kick off. MarquinhosEC's Fausto Di Blasio got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65thth minute of the game Marco Tardelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but São Miguel do Oeste.SC's Honorato Marz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vágner Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inácio Freitas in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Marz saved São Miguel do Oeste.SC from getting behind. When Jamal Roye came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the São Miguel do Oeste.SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jamal Roye couldn't finish the play.
