The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 20 DE SETEMBRO's Kléber Gaúcho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hermínio Ferreira in the 8 minute of the game. Erling Franks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Cavalcante having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Tana Rede kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benê Goiano. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Alfredinho Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Franks in the 21st minute of play. Erling Franks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Cavalcante having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erling Franks in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredinho Cavalcante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laerte Soeiro got a throw-in 41 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Emerson Velasco. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erling Franks to strike the kick off in the second half. Benê Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Masculier in the 51st minute of play. Benê Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tana Rede in the 59th minute of play forced 20 DE SETEMBRO's goalkeeper Benê Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68thth minute of the game Tana Rede who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 20 DE SETEMBRO's Benê Goiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 69th play minutes Tana Rede shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Benê Goiano and just under the crossbar into goal. Granadero10's Severino Messias was substituted for Fredrik Masculier. Granadero10 made a substitution. Norberto Simão replaced Vítor Antunes. 20 DE SETEMBRO were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Granadero10's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erivaldo Antunes took the corner. The corner ended in Erivaldo Antunes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Granadero10's Alfredinho Cavalcante did a great save. Benê Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tana Rede, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 78 played minutes 20 DE SETEMBRO got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Gaúcho. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Tana Rede managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granadero10's supporters rose to their feet, but Tana Rede was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benê Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Velasco in the 83rd minute of play forced 20 DE SETEMBRO's goalkeeper Benê Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Granadero10's Alfredinho Cavalcante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Granadero10 from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, Granadero10's goalkeeper Alfredinho Cavalcante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurinho Tróia. Benê Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Simão in the 93rd minute of the match. Benê Goiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norberto Simão went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Granadero10's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
