Apostolis Porros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinaldo Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinaldo Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half Jumentus Rock Club were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ermano Villahoz made a kick off. Sport Club Cevada's Apostolis Porros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Cevada from getting a goal against them. 53 minutes into the match, Sport Club Cevada's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Coutinho came free, but Apostolis Porros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sport Club Cevada booed when Jumentus Rock Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rômulo Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was Rômulo Freire who took care of the corner kick. After 93 played minutes Sport Club Cevada got a freekick which was hit by Ermano Villahoz. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jumentus Rock Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
