The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Dominik Szoboszlai put in a rough tackle. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jovens Democratas MZC! The goalkeeper, Manoel Neuer, was totally fooled by ✪ XV de Umarizal's Luiz Fabiano Amorim, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fabrício Jardel made the kick off in the second half. Domingo Bulnes made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Marco van Basten sent off a good shot on target. Valdomiro Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Manoel Neuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manoel Neuer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0.
