Diamantino Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Diamantino Magalhães managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when ✪ XV de Umarizal's Fabrício Jardel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Academia Militar MZ's Bernd Goldsche in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Fabrício Jardel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diamantino Magalhães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the Academia Militar MZ defense, Fabrício Jardel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diamantino Magalhães. The Academia Militar MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diamantino Magalhães should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Jardel in the 47th minute of play forced Academia Militar MZ's goalkeeper Diamantino Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabrício Jardel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Fabrício Jardel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute ✪ XV de Umarizal were awarded a corner. Valdomiro Ribeiro went to the cornerflag to take it. 55 minutes into the match, ✪ XV de Umarizal's goalkeeper Domingo Bulnes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hélder Custódio. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Militar MZ's goalkeeper Diamantino Magalhães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Academia Militar MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrício Jardel came free, but Diamantino Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademar Motta got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of ✪ XV de Umarizal booed when Academia Militar MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademar Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Fabrício Jardel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diamantino Magalhães was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Valdomiro Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ✪ XV de Umarizal made a substitution. Lionel 梅西 replaced Fabrício Jardel. Lionel 梅西 struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Diamantino Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ✪ XV de Umarizal. After a rather tough play, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Valdomiro Ribeiro got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel 梅西 in the 81st minute of play forced Academia Militar MZ's goalkeeper Diamantino Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernd Goldsche made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ✪ XV de Umarizal's Joel Rosado. Lionel 梅西 scored 6-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diamantino Magalhães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valdomiro Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Magalhães having to interfere. ✪ XV de Umarizal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
