In the 11th minute Jeremias Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Bulnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lionel 梅西 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Léo Leão. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 19th minute, Gualter Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Valdomiro Ribeiro tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Lionel 梅西 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Léo Leão, 2-0. In the 25th minute, Valdomiro Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domingo Bulnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Tinoco in the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Lionel 梅西 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Léo Leão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Misericordia EC's Léo Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Misericordia EC from getting a goal against them. Lionel 梅西 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Léo Leão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Léo Leão stood somewhat misplaced when Lionel 梅西 came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 46 minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lionel 梅西 to make the kick off.
