A sloppy throw-in by Claitinho Neymark in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SC Conceição's Tao Xing. In the 48thth minute of the game Clayton Pedron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Conceição's Sirod Rayadi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The SC Conceição players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C o n f i a n ç a - SE were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clayton Pedron made a kick off.
