Fluminense DF's Osvaldo Furlan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilian Bueno in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. ARS FUTEBOL's Wilian Bueno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save ARS FUTEBOL from getting a goal against them. Fluminense DF's Carlisle Schultz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Fabrizio in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute Mátyás Borbás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlisle Schultz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pierre Hopgood was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fluminense DF! Carlisle Schultz had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Samuca de Medeiros's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Prudencio Goiz struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Wilian Bueno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fluminense DF. Wilian Bueno made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Prudencio Goiz sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute Alex Pogba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlisle Schultz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuca de Medeiros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlisle Schultz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The corner led to ARS FUTEBOL's Alex Pogba getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 46thth minute of the game Prudencio Goiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ARS FUTEBOL's Wilian Bueno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Carlisle Schultz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mátyás Borbás in the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Fluminense DF's goal looked a bit too open when Camillo Fabrizio came free, but Carlisle Schultz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Pogba in the 54th minute of play forced Fluminense DF's goalkeeper Carlisle Schultz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the ARS FUTEBOL defense, Ingemar Kilman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilian Bueno. The ARS FUTEBOL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilian Bueno should have stopped the shot. Fábio Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Bueno having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Fluminense DF's goal looked a bit too open when Camillo Fabrizio came free, but Carlisle Schultz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes of play, ARS FUTEBOL's Camillo Fabrizio made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlisle Schultz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samuca de Medeiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Carlisle Schultz made a huge save. Carlisle Schultz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Pistol in the 80th minute of play. Camillo Fabrizio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlisle Schultz came out and tried to block the shot, but Camillo Fabrizio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 81st minute. Wilian Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Kilman in the 87th minute of the match. After 87 minutes of play, Fluminense DF's Ingemar Kilman made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilian Bueno was left in no man's land by his defense there! ARS FUTEBOL made a substitution. Luís Paulo Amorim replaced Luisito Pistol. Prudencio Goiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Wilian Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, ARS FUTEBOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çajup Pepa to maneuver through the defense.
