When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Carlos Augusto Guimarães put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Cleiton Terra. In the 38th minute, Otto Fesik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Cleiton Terra was left in no man's land by his defense there! 99 minutes into the match, Atlético Capixaba's Naldo Machado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cleiton Terra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Atlético Capixaba played a much better game than Intendencia AD and deserved their victory. The Intendencia AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
