In the 13th minute of the match, Kaká da Silva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hudson Gaúcho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 15th minute Mazinho Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erivaldo Hermes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beila Mora's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Hudson Gaúcho was a little too slow when Andrew Murillo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-1. Dito Maranhense made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Austra 04 VFC's Zachary Madej. 28 minutes into the match, Austra 04 VFC's goalkeeper Hudson Gaúcho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrew Murillo. 31 minutes into the match, Austra 04 VFC's Beila Mora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erivaldo Hermes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beila Mora in the 35th minute of play forced O MOTIVO ⚽'s goalkeeper Erivaldo Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Austra 04 VFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kaká da Silva 44 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yan Penha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Beila Mora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hudson Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Murillo in the 61st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beila Mora got free with Erivaldo Hermes in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beila Mora in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erivaldo Hermes saved O MOTIVO ⚽ from getting behind. O MOTIVO ⚽'s Erivaldo Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Erdem Zekai in the 70th minute of play. Erivaldo Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Pires in the 75th minute of play. The throw-in from Caetano Pinho in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Austra 04 VFC's Douglas Tande. Erivaldo Hermes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beila Mora's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Kazimierz Rosen in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Austra 04 VFC's Yaroslav Lyubar. In the 84th minute, one of O MOTIVO ⚽:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for O MOTIVO ⚽. Erivaldo Hermes made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Marcus Pollard sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th match minute, O MOTIVO ⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Douglas Tande took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erivaldo Hermes. O MOTIVO ⚽'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Austra 04 VFC fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Austra 04 VFC's Marcus Pollard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
