The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. New Loser FC's Janar Lehismets proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save New Loser FC from getting a goal against them. Laureano Amato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erivaldo Hermes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. New Loser FC's Janar Lehismets proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save New Loser FC from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the match, O MOTIVO ⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Carvalho came free, but Erivaldo Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Andrew Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mazinho Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When New Loser FC's Laureano Amato in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye O MOTIVO ⚽'s goalie prevented a goal. Janar Lehismets made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Bertoni in the 28th minute. The supporters of O MOTIVO ⚽ booed when New Loser FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Janar Lehismets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrew Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Matias Viña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's goalkeeper Janar Lehismets had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yan Penha. After a rather tough play, New Loser FC's Maurinho da Silva got a free kick in the 40th minute. O MOTIVO ⚽'s supporters stood up full of expectation in the 42nd minute of the game, when Emili Lean after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of New Loser FC's goal. Emili Lean was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. In the 43rd minute Andrew Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janar Lehismets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Viña kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Janar Lehismets acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emili Lean.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yan Penha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, New Loser FC's Matias Viña got a free kick in the 50th minute. Janar Lehismets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emili Lean, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laureano Amato got free with Erivaldo Hermes in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Andrew Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Daniel Bertoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janar Lehismets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. O MOTIVO ⚽'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emili Lean in the 62nd minute. The corner ended in Emili Lean almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but New Loser FC's Janar Lehismets did a great save. New Loser FC's Janar Lehismets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Murillo in the 63rd minute of play. Laureano Amato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erivaldo Hermes came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by New Loser FC's Laureano Amato. But to his dismay, Laureano Amato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of O MOTIVO ⚽ booed when New Loser FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurinho da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, O MOTIVO ⚽'s goalkeeper Erivaldo Hermes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Amato. If Laureano Amato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. O MOTIVO ⚽ made a substitution. Caetano Pinho replaced Mazinho Hermes. Afonsinho Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonsinho Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Hermes having to interfere. In the 95th minute Caetano Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janar Lehismets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
