The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bai Zhen Kang during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Serafino Nafarroa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mosqueteiros 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Väinö Caca-Rato in the 37th minute of play forced Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goalkeeper Hugo de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulf-Hendrik Korreborg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Rene Austin made a huge save. In the last second Rene Austin throw himself and got hold of the ball when Millano Almandoz in the 41stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a rather tough play, Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Amílton Lucas got a free kick in the 45th minute. Célio Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Hugo de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Millano Almandoz made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Millano Almandoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 minutes, Millano Almandoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mosqueteiros 4EVER and the Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Millano Almandoz kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ defense, Amílton Lucas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rene Austin. The Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rene Austin should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd match minute, Mosqueteiros 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Paião to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Mosqueteiros 4EVER getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Paulino Paião hit a great ball. Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's Rene Austin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Nafarroa in the 65th minute of play. Rene Austin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Nafarroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Hugo de Amorim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Millano Almandoz in the 74th minute of play forced Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's goalkeeper Rene Austin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Serafino Nafarroa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rene Austin. Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafino Nafarroa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's Rene Austin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Paião in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Mosqueteiros 4EVER booed when Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 84th minute, Millano Almandoz made a precise shot to the right of Rene Austin. Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 94th minute Millano Almandoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Mosqueteiros 4EVER players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
