The supporters of VARGINHA FC booed when Izaltina FAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Paiva in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Lain in the 23rd minute of play forced VARGINHA FC's goalkeeper Dito Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, VARGINHA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Thedin to maneuver through the defense. Dito Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Well-Well Waack, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Izaltina FAD's Well-Well Waack nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dito Novaes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Josué Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Josué Paiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josué Paiva ran back to his position shaking his head. VARGINHA FC's Dito Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Well-Well Waack in the 33rd minute of play. Manuel Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves got control of the ball when Álvaro Gaspar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 37 played minutes Izaltina FAD got a freekick which was hit by Well-Well Waack. A hard shot by Norbert Tepper from long distance, 38 minutes into the match, got Manuel Alves's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Dito Novaes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Well-Well Waack's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Dito Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Angelsø in the 41st minute of play. When Josué Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the VARGINHA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josué Paiva couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Manuel Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Paiva in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in VARGINHA FC's zone, Matías Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dito Novaes came out of the goal and Matías Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. VARGINHA FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Matías Mendes scored to the left of an out of position Dito Novaes, making the score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patxi Palenzuela in the 62nd minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Manuel Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes Izaltina FAD got a freekick which was hit by Kaido Lilleorg. Mauro Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Thedin in the 67th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Manuel Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Izaltina FAD defense, Alvin Thedin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Alves. The Izaltina FAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Alves should have stopped the shot. Kaido Lilleorg kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Kaido Lilleorg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvin Thedin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manuel Alves. Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leonel Ribota kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Dito Novaes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matías Mendes in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute of the match Izaltina FAD got a corner. VARGINHA FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benito Lain ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Izaltina FAD's Matías Mendes to fire away a dangerous shot which Dito Novaes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Manuel Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patxi Palenzuela, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Izaltina FAD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
