In the 3rdth minute of the game Tony Dionísio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Romando Futebol Clube's Juninho Paulista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Luiz Corrêa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save ROSÁRIO SPORT from getting a goal against them. Tony Dionísio struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Juninho Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROSÁRIO SPORT. 15 minutes into the match, Romando Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Dionísio came free, but Juninho Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juninho Paulista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tony Dionísio went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 20 minutes into the game, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Nildo da Silveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juninho Paulista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Tony Dionísio might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juninho Paulista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tony Dionísio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute Tony Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juninho Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tor Hjeltman kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The ROSÁRIO SPORT fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when ROSÁRIO SPORT's Tony Dionísio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Tony Dionísio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juninho Paulista was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Tony Dionísio might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juninho Paulista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tony Dionísio ran back to his position shaking his head. Juninho Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Dionísio in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Tony Dionísio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Juninho Paulista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 42 minutes, Tony Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ROSÁRIO SPORT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Dionísio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tony Dionísio might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juninho Paulista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tony Dionísio ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half ROSÁRIO SPORT were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dráusio Varela to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Luz in the 53rd minute of play forced ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper Luiz Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tor Hjeltman hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Dionísio in the 56th minute of play forced Romando Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Juninho Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Tony Dionísio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juninho Paulista. Romando Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tony Dionísio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Tony Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tony Dionísio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Juninho Paulista made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Tony Dionísio took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Juninho Paulista to make any attempt to save it. 71 minutes into the match, Tony Dionísio notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Romando Futebol Clube's Juninho Paulista. Juninho Paulista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juninho Paulista made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Yu Bin Yi sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yu Bin Yi in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juninho Paulista saved Romando Futebol Clube from getting behind. Tony Dionísio hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Angelito Di Maria sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ROSÁRIO SPORT's Luiz Corrêa didn't even have to move. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yu Bin Yi in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juninho Paulista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ROSÁRIO SPORT were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Romando Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tor Hjeltman took the corner. After 93 minutes, Wambasther Gattuso made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Romando Futebol Clube's Juninho Paulista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. ROSÁRIO SPORT's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
