Petre Porumboiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Ferran in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, A.A.100Qualidade's goal looked a bit too open when Romeu Guedes came free, but Egídio Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match, Romeu Guedes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Egídio Quirino saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A.A.100Qualidade's Egídio Quirino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save A.A.100Qualidade from getting a goal against them. Egídio Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ypiranga FC's Petre Porumboiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Magalhães in the 34th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Baltasar Ferran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petre Porumboiu was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, A.A.100Qualidade's goal looked a bit too open when José Furlan came free, but Egídio Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeu Guedes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Egídio Quirino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romeu Guedes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Romeu Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egídio Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvano Chepe kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match Arlindo Meireles shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Egídio Quirino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Ypiranga FC booed when A.A.100Qualidade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alketas Kalfakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.A.100Qualidade's Hélio Souza was substituted for Silvinho Guerra. A.A.100Qualidade made a substitution. Iakovos Sakelaridis replaced Lindo Noia. In the 92nd minute, José Furlan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egídio Quirino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After 96 played minutes A.A.100Qualidade got a freekick which was hit by Iggy Costacurta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo Meireles in the 97th minute of play forced A.A.100Qualidade's goalkeeper Egídio Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ypiranga FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
