The throw-in from Jiang Xiang Sheng in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Red John S.K's Henrique Ramalho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Strand in the 15th minute of play forced GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Grzegorz Siekierski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Isa Günyol advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 19th minute. The throw-in from Enrico Maestri in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GeRaÇãO-83's Paulinho Ralf. Grzegorz Siekierski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Strand in the 25th minute of the match. Grzegorz Siekierski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Strand in the 43rd minute of play. Red John S.K's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Denílson Lopes in the 44th minute. The corner ended in Denílson Lopes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GeRaÇãO-83's Grzegorz Siekierski did a great save. The supporters of GeRaÇãO-83 booed when Red John S.K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per-Oskar Ekgren was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Edin Džeko in the 70th minute of play forced Red John S.K's goalkeeper Cássio Corinth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Red John S.K's Cássio Corinth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edin Džeko in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to GeRaÇãO-83 getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jiang Xiang Sheng hit a great ball. Cássio Corinth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edin Džeko, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. With a little luck, GeRaÇãO-83's Grzegorz Siekierski got control of the ball when Denílson Lopes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92ndth minute of the game Edin Džeko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red John S.K's Cássio Corinth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastian Bach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Siekierski having to interfere. The Red John S.K players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
